INTERNATIONAL ELECTION NOTICE

This is to notify all the interested members of Nepal Association for Global Cooperation (NAGC) to apply for candidacy to run for the office Global President as per the bylaws of NAGC. The applying candidate has to be a verified member of NAGC before August 25, 2011. The candidacy is open for all levels of members in all the established chapters of NAGC. Please find the election process.

1. Election date December 17, 2011
2. Deadline to file candidacy August 31, 2011 4.00 PM
3. Candidates should submit valid photo identification along with the application and payment ($199.00) details.
4. The names of all the candidates have been determined as thus:

The valid candidates for International Presidents are as follows:

Rajendra Prasad Devkota, Dubai, UAE

1. Last date to withdraw candidacy-December 5, 2011
2. Voters may cast their votes in the International convention venue /chapter election booths or electronically (the chapter election commission will decide the regulation for the required procedures the committee is responsible to oversee all the procedures) as per the rules put forth by the convention committee or chapter Election Commission.
3. Vote counting in the international convention venue starts 6:30 pm on October 22, 2011. The ballots will be counted and reported to the international venue as soon as the votes have been casted in respective chapters.
4. Oath taking of the new president December 17, 2011 at 8.15 PM

Pease Note that all the NAGC chapters are notified to conduct their convention before December 1, 2011 and the elections for Chapter President Vice Presidents, General Secretary, Secretary, Treasurer and Directors will take place on the convention day.  All elected chapter presidents are ex officio Directors of Global Board of Directors. Other key positions will be nominated by the newly elected president respecting the spirit of NAGC spirit, considering gender, regional and ethnic balance as per the NAGC principle.
